You could say boat building is in our blood. For the Bryant family, boat building is a tradition that has spanned nearly 50 years. In 1960, Jim Bryant founded his first boat company in Knoxville, Tennessee. Thirty years later, he and his son Joe founded Bryant Boats in nearby Sweetwater. It’s the only thing they’ve ever done, and the only thing they’ve ever wanted to do. Building the best boats in the world is more than a family business; it’s a family passion. And when you build a limited number of boats per year – and you put your family name on each and every one of them – you take the time to make sure that they are built right. It’s our love made real.

100% Wood-Free Construction
There’s an old saying that “you could get a wood boat for free and STILL have paid too much.” That’s because wood rots. Even treated wood can eventually become waterlogged, adding weight and eventually rotting. That’s why at Bryant, you won’t find wood anywhere. We use precision-molded composite fiberglass and high-density polyethylene plastic in the stringer, transom, sub-floor, and upholstery bases. No wood. And that means no deterioration.
Quick Plane Design
Bryant is the first, and only, manufacturer to locate the fuel tank in the bow of every boat. This “Quick Plane Design”—similar to a competition bass boat—allows for quicker planing and better performance on the water. It may seem like a small detail, but when you’re the one pushing the throttle, it’s a detail you’ll appreciate.
